Hi Fabrice,

thanks for your interest. Yes, JStudio SiteWalker does support https. Because JStudio SiteWalker works with integrated Internet Explorer components it supports all browsing functionalties that IE does support. Requesting URLs - also https - will be processed by JStudio SiteWalker in same way than IE would do.
There is one special point: To display the windows authentication dialog (when authentication is active and no login page has been specified to redirect) please enable the checkbox "open in new browser tab" on the task configuration dialog that requests the URL first and raises the dialog.

Please note: the window authentication dialog can not be automated by JStudio SiteWalker and must be entered manually at navigation runtime.

Displaying the windows (also NTFS/ Simple) authentication dialog can be disabled or enabled by changing the security settings of IE.
In network environments providing single sign on, authentication can be done automatically when dialog has been disabled. For authentication also refer to windows command "runas" to start JStudio SiteWalker from command line using another user profile than used at windows logon.

Hope these suggestions might help you to solve your authentication issues.

regards,

Frank

Hi there,

to display authentification dialog when manually browsing (by entering address in address filed) button "open address in new tab browser" on the browser must be used. Because this button is not displayed in the browser Mission Designer view you have to switch to browser view for the request.

Strange.
