Hi,
I use sitewalk to test a web site .
When I login into the web site , it will show a alert message.
I tried to enable "suppress modal alert dialog,if occure" in the Navigation Step.
But it still doesn't work.
So I check the web page source-code.
It looks like:
----------------------------------------------------------
<html>
<head>
<script>
var msg = "test";
</script>
</head>
<body>
Dectect ....
<SCRIPT>
if ( msg != '' )
{
alert("Got Value");
}else{
alert("empty");
}
</SCRIPT>
</body>
</html>
----------------------------------------------------------

Could anyone help me to pass this difficult situation ?
Thanks a lot .

Hi,

did you suppress on the correct element ? You must suppressed all alerts before the step starts which raises the box.
In our tests we uses separate steps bases on body tag that will do stuff like suppressing, validation of the correct page (is login loaded then proceed, otherwise break task) etc.

So try to suppress some steps ealier. If needed add a new element as step in previous order which will do this.

bye
F.
